PRSL ARQUITECTURA

Page Description

Sign language is a system of visual gestures, created by Deaf people, to express concepts. The PRSL - Puerto Rico Sign Language - is the language used by Deaf people in Puerto Rico. It is not known as an official language, and for this reason there is a need to create new signs for certain words. The PRSL derives from the ASL - American Sign Language - primary language of the Deaf used in the United States. This page is created with the intention of creating a vocabulary in PRSL focused on architecture. Prior to the creation of this page, many of the words referring to the discipline of architecture were translated to the Deaf via spelling or simply unknown.
